Wanna-be Discord

I definitely feel like the competition from Discord is pushing Steam to catch up, but I feel like the execution is not great. The new message sound is unpleasant and I hate it. I'm not a fan of the new layout either, I don't care to have my friends sorted by the game they are playing - I don't even play half of the games so I don't need to know. I want the alphabetic order back. Honestly the only reason I'm even logged onto Steam anymore is if I need it open to play a game. This update isn't convincing me otherwise, I feel like it's messy and not flexible. One of the only things I'm liking is the part where unread messages are shown at the top of the friends tab, though I will keep encouraging people to stop messaging me on Steam.

IMO the new steam chat sound is way better. Nowhere near as recognisable but quite sweet in my ears
