Steam controller: Anti-deadzone and buffer for left-stick
A requested feature... R6S forces 5-10% deadzone minimum on both sticks (never got a solid answer which but seems 10% despite the settings suggest 5%)

Under additional settings on Joystick Move there are anti deadzone and anti deadzone buffer settings.

There’s a slight problem with using that.

I have to use joystick mouse because it doesn’t require x-input... if any key is linked with x-input (for controller)... on R6S ubisoft purposely made it so a keybinding and a controller binding deactivate with each other... if that makes sense.

For example: I could have shoot assigned to right bumper (x-input) on right bumper and aim assigned to left-click to left bumper... if I do both simultaneously... shooting will stop and aiming will stop... this happens with every key for different platforms.

To get even more complicated...

Ubisoft controls options on R6S... mouse and keyboard settings actually impact settings for controller.

Vise versa... controller settings actually impact mouse and keyboard settings.

If i turn up deadzones on controller settings... using a mouse or wasd actually feels the added deadzone. (Even if it’s harder to feel with m&k the result is easier to feel on controller)

I use M&K bindings so I can actually lean on the game (since it’s limited to m&k and there’s no binding for leaning left and right).

So pretty much there is this built in 5-10% deadzone on leftstick with joystick mouse (which I have to use for more controller options).

Hope this makes sense. :P

Sorry I meant I have to use “directional pad” than “joystick mouse” in place of “joystick move” as “joystick move” requires x-input whereas “directional pad” does not.

Is this absolutely not in consideration to be added? I ask because I actually find myself squashing a nerve in my left thumb pressing harder than normally due to this 5% deadzone I can't remove and buffer.

Hate to be a pain on this, but the more I practice on R6S the more I noticed this is the underlying issue to my performance (stopping during a gun fight is heavily important when you’re gonna peak with exposing the least of yourself).

I had injured my left thumb again recently (healed after 2-3 weeks) - this time the joint in my thimb slightly slid out of place because I applied too much force on the analogue trying to bypass the deadzone.

Is this feature under consideration/has no valid possibility? Any information regarding this would be appreciated.
