You can create a VR collection (or dynamic collection), then create a manual collection containing everything that isn't VR. Then you can use the play button (>) to filter your visible collections (on both the left hand and the right hand side) to installed games only.
i have a LOT of games so that is not feasable so i would like steam to ad an x to the filter option when making dynamic lists. that would be nice

Hmm maybe I wasn't clear.

If you have no other categories this is a 5 minute job regardless of game number.

- All games start in uncategorized.
- You create the VR collection all non-VR games are now in uncategorized.
- Select all the uncategorized games (click the top scroll down hold shift and click the last one)
- manually create a non-VR category (right click add to ... etc)

You now have what you need with any new games needing to be added to the non-VR manually (unfortunately).

If Valve adds exclusion dynamic collections it'd be easier to maintain long term but at least it gives you something for now

I don't think you can use a filer "by exclusion" currently, but yeah, it would be a nice addition.
