have to keep re-adding my steam library folder on a secondary drive
title says it all i guess, i just started having this issue again and its really annoying. i come home, boot up my PC and my steam library is almost completely gone save for a few that i keep on my C: drive. to fix it i have to go to downloads, add library folder, select the drive (which keeps switching back and forth between my D: drive and E: drive, but it only shows this in steam, not windows, i even checked disk management so i think its steam) and navigate to the steam library folder where all of my games are. this happens EVERY time i start my computer. how do i stop this ;_;

This is a known problem for yeasrs. What you can do is : Keep complaining about it and hope for the best. Even when following directions given below, this will happen to you again.

Navigate yourself to your SteamApps -folder, open appmanifest_212070.acf file with WordPad and ensure you've got an actual size written next to BytesDownloaded
Occasionally the appmanifest files can reset, leading the Steam -client to think the game is uninstalled. Usually when you hit Install on the game after, and if installed to the same folder path, the client will detect the pre-existing data and then rewrite the appmanifest -file.
You can as well, just exit the Steam -app; right mouse click your SteamApps -folder > Properties > Previous Versions. Open up a date pre-dating the removal of the game's, then copy the older entry (appmanifest_212070.acf) and paste it to your new SteamApps -folder.
Re-launch Steam
