Steam Controller Configurations no longer saved to steam link.

As of the beta client update of 12/15/2015, my steam controller's configuration is not saved to the steam link. When I go to profiles, there are neither my own personal configurations or community configurations displayed. I tried to re-create some of my configurations manually and save (export) it to my steam link, but the profiles are not saved, even though it says the save was sussessful, they were not.

I had to opt out of the client beta in order to get my profiles back on my steam link.

I should also mention that the latest update made it so that steam does not maximize when I press my steam guide button on my controller. If I'm looking at my desktop, pressing the steam guide button no longer brings up steam, I have to click it from the taskbar. Also, if I am not in big picture, double taping the steam guide button no longer launches big picture mode, I have to click it manually.

Finally, the latest update disabled my mouse cursor when browsing the steam web browser. The mouse cursor on my controller works fine if browsing on the desktop, but it no longer works when browsing the steam browser in big picture.

I noticed my non steam games all show 1 community profile across the board. Steam doesnt recognize the difference I guess

same here. I'm unable to play any of my games. I'm not able to reconfigure the controller neither as the configuration do not persist

Opt out of the Steam client beta until this is fixed.

What about opting into the beta on the link does that work... I'll try it. Because I like the new features...

Cool sounds and stuff for turning controller on lol. Saving to the controller is good..... But ffs its broken

No, nothing in the Steam Link beta firmware fixes this. The problem is most likely in the Steam Client side. A lot of weird side effects appeared with the new features for the controller (even when connected to the PC)

I'm experiencing the same issue. Everything works fine when the controller is wired to my desktop, but I'm getting nothing saved on steam link.

All my controller configurations steam since the last beta update, jumbled, and I miss a few ..
I think it has to do with the saving to the controller.
But how do I put these out?

I am also having this issue. Big Bummer default config is unplayable.

I'f turned the Beta version of steam out, it,s back to normal again.
Al setting of my games or back and in the right place.

I'm having the same issue. Time to go back to stable.

Yeah I'm having the same problems too, I had to bail out of the beta client and then I was able to re-apply my previous controller configs/access the community ones again. The only thing is the controller won't work wirelessly at all, in fact it won't even power on; the steam button just flickers very quickly when holding it down to power on.

Oh, that might be because you're not in pairing mode, hold A while turning it on, and wait to see if it turns on if it just flickers then turns off again, hold X while turning it on. If that doesn't work, that sucks. :(

latest update fixed my issues. Old community profiles are gone but lots of new ones coming up and all my personal ones are back
