Windows 10 and Steam Client Window Size(Scale)
I use Windows 10 for about 10 days. OK. They're GOOD for now.

I noticed that you can scale the size of letters, icons, menus and the overall size of everything in Windows. There is a setting option under the System Menu in the new Control Panel of Windows 10.

What I noticed is that the older applications that use pre-made graphics and APIs don't scale right and they blur the overall watching quality of the user. One of those programs is the Steam Client while GoG Beta Client works perfectly fine.

I think the Steam programmers HAVE to fix this because older guys like me and even younger ones that work under HIGH resolution monitors and large enough TV sets won't be able to see anything if they follow the normal Windows view settings.

I enlarged everything by 25% to be able to help my eyes see everything properly and make everything more comfortable but the Steam Client overall quality is NOT so good. I see everything in it BLURED. I wish I could scale everything else except the client(scale depending on the application) but that is NOT an option in Windows 10 as they also removed the percentage Scale to fix it on your OWN eyes. Now there is ONLY 100, 125 and more percentage of what you see.

Any suggestions?

You can turn off DPI scaling just for Steam:
Right click Steam icon > Properties > Compatibility > Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" > Restart Steam

As for Valve doing something about it... well... is NOT gonna happen anytime soon.

Thank You Very Much Gojira! Steam View is much better now... Original! This Scaling in high DPI is a real pain for many APIs.

Really Thanks!

You saved my life, if it works! Thank you!
The thing is that by NOW Steam has no Setting for configuring the client. They only have some setting in the chat system.

If you set of scaling for Steam Client, you just see it in the smaller version, that is not a fix, just a workaround for the problem.
People using Scaling for a reason, Big Resolution or small Screen size (Notebooks mostly).
