Overlay in game clock and timer.
I would like a clock in game because I sometimes run games in fullscreen and going to the overlay menu everytime I want to see the time keeps getting me killed in games, the timer is a good idea because sometimes I need to do something like get my food out of the stove.

Does anyone else think this should be added?

I would like an in game clock, too. So I don't have to Alt+Tab/Window Out/Ctrl+Alt+Del out the game to see the local time. A timer sounds nice, too.

They could make a key that moves the spot that the clock is in, and a key to toggle it on and off, because they are updating the ui anyway they should put this in the next update as well.

I think this is too esoteric for most people. First you would have to know that this feature exists, then know the associated command to make it work. Most people have watches, phones, egg timers, and other clocks external to their PCs. It takes less than a second to get in and out of the Steam overlay if you have to check the time. Most games are not all action, all the time; they have lulls where you can take a second or two to open the overlay. It's a feature that probably wouldn't be used by 99% of Steam users.

Just Like Big Picture, I never use that thing because I have a desktop in my room and no TV.

While this is true, an ingame clock would allow people to avoid having to leave the game experience. I made a post like this the other week as I think many would use the feature

This Topic kind of died, posting about the idea some more. I would love this to be in the next big UI update, the family set time limt is a good idea as well but not that usefull to you and me as gamers. Because of the music player it might be a good idea to be able to pin the music time and track title on screen as well.

Any piece og the overlay should be made so you can choose what remains "on top" when you close the overlay. They should just make it module-based so each user decides what remains visible when you close the overlay, and where to place it.

I hope they will add the clock, just like the FPS counter...
But the Steam Team is too slow, this should be available ages ago...
