Categories are way too limited and way too manual, whereas games in the store can have multiple tags and they are automatic to the regular user.
Furthermore steam can benefit by enabling the user-defined tags, as most users would rather organize their own library than the steam store. The feature would make a lot of impact when browsing in Big Picture mode, as navigation is limited and being able to easily reduce the subset of games by specifying a class or two is always good.
That would be awesome too! ^^
Would be even better if you could add multiple categories simultaneously to your 'genre view'. For example, I could add 'RPG', 'local co-op' and 'perma death' and bam a refined list of games show up.
