PS4 Controller (Dualshock 4) API on Steam
Will the API update come early on the beta so people like me will be able to test it out and report problems that may accour? :)

Sony was too stupid to do it themselves even after selling a wireless usb dongle.

Thirdparty and Certified is two completly diffrent things if the pro controllers will have an native input as an normal PS4 controller than it will act and work like one on PC :)
Depend on what hardware will be recognized as controller on PC. If this is about Sony USB PC dongle, then unsure that certified controllers will be recognized by Steam as well. Even though they are USB wired. Those still different hardware, would probably require separate drivers on PS4 that will come with PS4 System update, yet not with Steam.

Also not sure that bluetooth connected DS4 will be recognized by Steam as well.

See, you even posted an image of the Steam Controller Look-Alike of the PS4 Controller. Looks sooo like a PS4 Controller... but it's not.
