Switch Pro Controller recognised as Xbox 360 controller

I've followed all steps to hook up my Switch pro controller but for some reason it's being picked up as an xbox 360 controller, microsoft did the same when it installed it, how do I fix it?

Do you happen to have any Switch controller remapping programs installed (or have installed in the past), such as vJoy, BetterJoyForCemu or anything similar that allows you to use your Switch controller in other programs? These are most often the cause of Steam mistakenly identifying a controller as the wrong type.

Also, just to check, is your controller an official Nintendo controller or a third party controller? I ask because there are a few 3rd-party Switch controllers that work like an Xbox controller rather than a Switch controller, though I haven't seen many of them so far.

I have no remapping programs installed and its the Nintendo Official Hori Pro controller
