Can steam add a block list for developers
Can we get a option to block developers from showing their game to me, for example since Rockstar has his own launcher I wana ban them because I don't care about about rockstar anymore and I don't want to see their games anymore

The problem is that there's a cap on how many devs steam lets you ignore. Considering all of the asset flippers, Earlier Access scammers, and just plain crooked devs steam has allowed to operate on the platform they need to let us ignore as many as we want.

everytime a well known developer/publisher does a sale the takeover banner will be plastered to your face through the main store page
everytime a well known developer/publisher does a sale the box containing their crappy fake sale (as some of them plainly love to raise prices before a sale Capcom,EA, Ubisoft etc are guilty) WILL not have the option to hide it because """reasons"""
Hiding or ignoring entire franchises, devs, publishers pages will only show you a greyed out box with the writing "you are ignoring this blablabla" yet once a sale happens they will still pop up left and right
During Xmas sale people like me had problems with the homepage because 23k~ish ignored titles and we couldn't browse for sheet because at Valve they think it's funny to show you greyed out boxes anyway.
Ignore function it's not working as intended it's a placebo like hide all function from Facebook, or the newer and nevertheless broken don't show me things Youtube function.
Since Steam is made with chromium someone has to come with an element hider for Steam or a ublock steamogin thing to deal with this crap once for all.

maybe steam can make a better version of this ignore feature.

the function is already there cause when some indie or another literally who dev makes a sale, you can ignore their products and the ubermega banner taking over home page space disappears after a refresh.

This is stupid I blocked Rockstar game and I still get red dead redemption adds on steam front, I even refreshed the page so it does not work.

cause they are not some random dev whom just released a better game than their "watch some cowboy with a horse riding through a bunch of wallpapers" simulator

then you have to use the experimental search, set options to hide ignored items and forget about store page existence as it's well clear that at Valve they have no plans to let people permanently hide triple A junk teams cause they think it will harm their sales.
As if I will ever change my set of rules against Capcom, Rockstar, Ubisoft, Activision etc etc and start to buy their yearly crap filled with mictro transactions, drms and rootkits

Also even if you use the experimental search and you are not searching but just browsing without filters, bundles, goty, whatever of crappy games will still show up, apparently the loss of money for something you had no plans to purchase from the start is so high that they have to show you said crap anyways
