[SOLVED] FaceOff Deluxe Switch Wired Pro Controller not detected (Kubuntu)

Hi guys, I have this controller for the switch (the mario themed one that you can change the cover). I've read that the switch controller is supported by steam but this one just doesn't work for me.

I know it's not the expensive, wireless one but kubuntu detects it, if I use jstest-gtk its also detected. I opted in the steam beta but going to the controller settings in steam to check if its there, it says no controller.

Have any of you tried to use this controller with steam?

I'm pretty sure that works on windows. Switch support in Steam uses HID over USB so we need the device to be added to your udev rules before we can talk to the device

Yes, today I solved the problem by adding a new rule I forgot to delete this post. Actually another problem that I'm facing now is that Dark Souls remastered doesn't see the controller!
