2. I'm pretty sure EA and Valve are rivals, if not total enemies.
3. Just add the sims4.exe thing as a non-steam game into steam for the overlay. Sims 4 doesn't have any achievements anyways.
this is the reason why I avoid Assasians Creed, Prince of Persia and Farcry games though I would love to finish them, I havent got much space left on my computer anyhow and would rather not have to install another platform onto my pc
However I do imagine that even if the Sims 4 ever made it onto steam its likely we would still have to install Origin and log in to run it, its just a pain in the butt... its a pity that they cannot work out some sort of agreement to loosen things up.
This is why a lot of people prefer console gaming, put the disc in, press play and your done, pc can become too trying.
For me, my consoles are meant for multiplayer games or coop, if its not somthing I can engage with other and share the experience I'm not buying it for a console Ill buy that for my PC and mostly game when I have the flu or while Im traveling.
Gaming hits me like mood swings, I'm always jumping between games and eventually finishing them 5 years later. Id love to give the Sims 4 a chance but I probably wont purchase it until it becomes available on Steam as its the platform I have come to trust and never have any issues with, I enjoy how I can buy a new laptop and install steam and not have to tear my hair out with support tickets or installion limitations or DRM. I simply just click install on my new laptop or desktop and 5 minutes later Im finishing that one game.
