Geforce Experience controller conflicts. (FIXED)

So this has been happening for a while, I've reported it to Nvidia but they seem to do nothing about it, so maybe valve will be able to sort it.

When using Nvidia share (Formerly known as shadowplay) and running two controllers through the steam controller configurator, both controllers will conflict and try to ocntrol player 1. As soon as Nvidia share is disabled, the problem goes away. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the big picture overlay and the share overlay clashing or something, not to sure but hope you can take a look.

I've tested this with a steam controller, xbox 360, xbox one and ps4 controller and they all fight for player one unless share is disabled, but only when running through the steam controller API.


I managed to sort it, if you have this problem, open the share overlay, turn off instant replay so you can access settings. Got to stream (experimental) and select no in allow friends to joing game as guest.

i tried, this doesnt help. my problem is a little bit of different kind.
my 3rd party apps, such as ds4windows, input mapper etc are unable to run exclusive mod when nvidia overlay is running.
