DPI Scaling on linux
I run a 49 inch 4k screen at 150% and with the steam stable the old elements were scaling and the new elements (game properties for example) didnt, now the entire interface is the new one and everything is kinda small.

In Addition to that when I maximize the window, the webview of e.g. the community page, arent really interactiable anymore.

I have the same. I run on Nvidia 3070Ti, 4K screen with 200% scaling, and the whole interface in the beta client is very small. It doesn't seem to take scaling into account and I need to revert to stable. I did have the switch set to scale according to UI in the steam settings, but it doesn't do anything.

Also starting steam from CLI with GDK_SCALE=2 doesn't do anything.

I use Arch Linux with KDE on wayland and I have this exact same problem.

I have discovered that exiting Big PIcture mode trigger a UI update on the Steam Client and it fix the UI scaling. It's scaled properly on my 4k TV after I exit BP. Unfortunately, it's only temporary. Problem comeback each time steam is restarted.

Basically, open BP, quit BP and maybe you gonna get lucky too!

I hope it's gonna get fixed in the next update! It's pretty annoying!
