realy hate it, hope its a bug and not a feature.........
If you start Steam manually (which I imagine includes when it auto starts on launching games that need it) then it still comes in to focus, but good luck getting Valve to do anything about that, they’ve shipped the fix and the matter is closed.
Unfortunately, with the new Steam Client updates, the main window of the Steam Client will launch automatically when your computer starts if you chose to enable "Run Steam when my computer starts". This is intended change. Unfortunately, there's no official feature to start the Steam Client on minimized when your computer starts however, you may disable this setting (Steam > Settings > Interface > Disable "Run Steam when my computer starts") if you would like to.
Steam Support
Very annoying change. Aand, if it is a deliberate change, a really arrogant move. People use their pcs for more than Steam. But if you only start it when you want to play a game, you get five million updates that you need to instal first...
I am hoping they bring the old behavior back.
what a trash move from steam that its a intentional change.
Telling people to run Steam less seems like such an idiotic yet very Valve stance to take.
