İn game overlay not working
With the last update, I cannot open the Steam interface in the game. When I press Shift+tab, only the friends tab appears. Unfortunately I can't see the other parts.

This happens in some games. For example, if there is more than one program to start the game, the steam in-game interface may not open. For example RED Launcher for Cyberpunk 2077

I found a temporary solution for now. First, log in to the game. Then open task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL). Find the gameoverlay.ui section in the processes section and press the end process button. Then log into the game and press shift+tab. It can work this way.

Does this work when the controller works with your custom layout at the launcher and then it goes back to a default controller setting once the splash screen hits?

i found another cause of the overlay not working. if you have a shortcut for the game on your taskbar to access the game, the system will not see the game properly. you must access the game from the steam library.

I'm having this issue on my son's PC. As soon as gameoverlayUI.exe starts, it IMMEDIATELY crashes. I've reinstalled drivers, Steam, disabled the Nvidia overlay, turned off all Razer software, and just tried everything I could find, but it still happens.
