Correct pin entered - Steam no likey

ISSUE:
When trying to purchase a game, the interface now requests the family PIN, which, when entered correctly, still rejects. I cannot buy a game! I'm no expert, but this is a biggy for your business model !!

OS:
Windows 10

STEPS:
I enter the correct pin and it says 'nice try etc' I double checked and triple checked, it is the correct pin. I even switched to family mode and back to normal mode and the correct pin worked fine. So I know it is not the wrong pin.

RESULTS:
I am rejected. It is high school all over again

EXPECTED:
I can give you money and waste my time like I intended

Update; I circumvented this problem by using a browser, logging in to steam and buying the game that way. Still, you have some bug fixing to do!

same issue & it is the correct pin because as you said the pin works in other areas, just not when trying to buy a game. Steam, you are literally bricking your own platform kek but I'm sure you'll fix it :)
