Did not work for me. Tried both enabling and disabling steam input, made no difference.. My controller works fine if I use the DSX app to make it detect as an xbox controller on the desktop. But I can't use Gyro, and I need Gyro.
I had some trouble too, but with Dualsense/SteamController gyro... It's non-center while DRIVING (using Gyro as left stick) - when the gamepad is straight, the car turns. And gyro center chanhing whole time. I can't drive cars anymore with gyro.
Until recently, everything worked perfectly in both Steam and GloSC...
Maybe someone found a solution?
Yeah, thanks to the latest update even natively supported games are broken. Same for F1 22 as well. I had to switch to mouse n keyboard for a few single player games that I was playing on a controller, had to relearn all the controls, and I just prefer using a controller in general for some types of games. Glad to hear the issue is universal in that case lol. But that means Valve should fix this ASAP.
EDIT-Addendum: Today, any game that I want to play with controller, that are known to offer native support, are marked as "Mostly Playable With Your Controller - This game is playable, but may show incorrect glyphs or require keyboard at some points.". Meaning that the controller only has partial support, even though it does have full support. Is this a phase where this feature was half done when it was shipped? As in we will be getting a fully functional system somewhere in the next 5 years?
Now, it suddenly supports PS4, I can't hold down any buttons in-game (they register as taps), and the above solution no longer works.

Risk of Rain used to correctly show the PS4/PS5 buttons glyphs; now it still plays but shows the XBox glyphs.
Rocket League simply cannot be played 2-player splitscreen anymore. Just straight up doesn't work.
