I figured out, that if you go to settings, overlay, then "taskbar-options", switch one thing like shop and you have your right-cklick options back. Until Steamrestart.
OS: Windows 10
STEPS
right-click on tray-icon in windows-taskbar
RESULTS
no menu is shown, only some favorite games
EXPECTED
menu should show up as in the settings selected
opening the settings for what be on the taskbar menu shows the everything enabled and toggling them fixes the menu but it break again after awhile
OS: Win 10
Only thing I noticed
If you go to settings -> Taskbar Preferences -> disable + enable Store for example -> tray-icon shows the correct menu -> after restart Steam the icon menu is broken again
Also, when I press the payment button in the store shopping cart, nothing is displayed.
This specifically is an issue with Family View that cropped up a couple weeks ago. Valve and support both know about it.
Use a browser to completely disable Family View first (this is not the same as using the PIN to turn it off). Make sure you are signed into your friends list online first. Then you can use both the Steam client and the mobile app to make your purchases.
You can re-enable Family View at any time after you disable it. It will fix the issue.
ok, thanks for info, but there is a reason why i use Family-view, so deactivate it is a workaround but will not work, for family-used steam-accounts! ;o)
I hope they will fix it soon too
