ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS with AMD GPU cant open steam interface
ISSUE
with the latest AMD drivers installed, when using the Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS system, I can click on the Steam application and log in to my account. However, after logging in, only the background icon is displayed. The Steam interface keeps popping up repeatedly and then closes automatically.

I find a temporary SOLUTION:
When I start Steam from the command line by typing steam, it works! After that, I go to Steam Settings > Interface and disable "GPU-accelerated rendering" (requires a restart). After disabling this option, I can launch Steam directly by mouse clicking the application icon without using the terminal. However, this setting causes the frame rate of the Steam interface to be very low. Please help me resolve this issue!

Ran into the same issue. Uninstalling the snap install and installing the deb package seems to have fixed it for me
