Maximized Steam window covers autohide taskbar.

ISSUE

Steam maximized window hides acess to Windows taskbar when "autohide taskbar" option is set to left edge of screen.

OS

Windows 7 x64, classic (win98) UI, Dual Extended-Mode monitor

STEPS

• Select STORE from the main menu
  
• Select Maximize button in right corner.
  
• Try acess Windows Takskbar (when set to left edge of screen and autohide)
  
• RESULTS
  
• Nothing happening, Steam covers taskbar. Try use Win key.

EXPECTED

Windows taskbar pops up.

The only ways to solve this are not hiding the taskbar, or manually resizing the window.

Rather annoying.

I know this is dead by now, but for anyone who googles this, there's a few white dots in the bottom right corner, click those to unhide the taskbar

Why do you necro a thread by quoting the wrong post? It was NOT a problem for me, the other Ppl in this thread suffered the issue.
Please don't necro, especially not on the Bug Reports forum. This forum is needed for the DEVs to work on CURENT issues

If you Faroese Coffee dug up this thread because you still suffer the issue, that would be OK. But ToP_NoTcH did and he did/does not suffer the issue and nor did/do i (just checked to be sure i don't) being the person quoted by ToP_NoTcH.

It's like that 10 year old bug when you closed Steam in full screen and you start it again it will open normaly. You will have to maximize it again.
