Steam Beta crashing Wallpaper Engine

ISSUE
Wallpaper Engine crashes once opened, shows error: Access violation: trying to write to address 0x505C3B17.

STEPS
- run Wallpaper engine - have error and crash
- check Wallpaper Engine forum - followed all steps to try fix - nothing worked
- checked discussion on Steam - people said disabling steam client beta helped
- disabled Steam Beta - helped - able to run Wallpaper Engine
- enabled Steam Beta back - Wallpaper Engine crashed again

RESULTS
Unable to use Wallpaper Engine with Steam Beta Client enabled.

EXPECTED
Being able to open and use Wallpaper Engine with Steam Client beta enabled.

Updated Steam client 5 minutes ago and it now works just fine (just lost all my playlists) but had the same bug

I solved it by checking if the Steam client had any updates, applied it, restarted, and solved it.
