Friend not showing up under "Friends who play"

Friend not showing up under "Friends who play"

Hi!

I have been having this annoying bug with one of my friends. When he is online or playing CS2, he does not show up under the "Friends who play" section. He only appears under the "Friends who have Counter-Strike 2 in their library". Checking his profile manually, it shows no "recently played" games at all, and I can't see play time for any of his games even though he has all his profile settings set to public. I am running the latest non-beta steam client on Windows 10.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it some strange setting perhaps?

That sounds like your friend made their Games Details and play time private.
