Dotted Steam Overlay appears over any game I open.

ISSUE
Overlay artifact appears no matter what game I open. Looks to be from a tutorial but I can't identify which.

OS
Windows 11

STEPS
Open any game, overlay appears moments later
Navigate through game and play normally
Close game, overlay goes away

EXPECTED
No overlay would appear at all.

WHAT HAPPENS
As described above. I have yet to open a game that does not have this overlay appear a second or two after opening. It's the same overlay every time. RPG, RTS, FPS, always the same overlay.

Do you have any other programs like Discord as an example that has their own overlay turned on?

It's very possible that this is Discord doing this. That's the only other possible culprit, though. I'll hunt there.

I'm sorry for not posting what steps I took to get rid of the issue- it's been long enough that I forgot what exactly I did. But I know that I tinkered with my settings in Discord in order to make the overlay disappear.

Its under the game overlay setting for anyone. You can disable it and itll fix the issue.
