Report a translation problem
I suspect the bug is in the "In-Game Max Turn Rate", changing it to a very low value (around 10 degrees per second) makes it usable again. You can find this setting by clicking the gear icon next to the "Gyro Behaviour", it's under "Angle Calibration".
My personal preference with this bug is 8-9 degrees per second and 20x-30x sensitivity but I always liked a very quick gyro, set the degrees first (lower values increase sensitivity) and fine tune with the "Gyro Sensitiviy".
I'm using a Steam Controller and Windows 10, in case it's relevant for the developers to find the fix.
