LINUX || Steam Big Picture Mode is lagging

ISSUE
Steam Big Picture Mode is lagging. A few frames per second.

OS
Fedora 41 KDE Plasma.

STEPS
Opening Steam Big Picture Mode after Steam has launched.

RESULTS
Steam Big Picture is very laggy, like 2 frames per second. Doesn't matter what resolution i'm using either.

EXPECTED
Steam Big Picture Mode doesn't lag.

NOTES
It works just fine when Steam launches with BPM right away;
also works fine on my Windows 11 dual boot.

Edit: Using the option "Use The Big Picture Mode overlay when using a controller" under "In Game" settings seems to work just fine. Although it's still not the same as using BPM straight up but better than nothing.

The only "fix" i know is using BPM on launch
