Edit: The issue may be due to using the 'skip ahead 10s' button while making the clip, but that's just a hunch right now.
It is only happening to one specific session's recording, but I've already used the "save / share" button successfully on the session, but had to redo the clip because (again) steam lied about the export size.
This ♥♥♥♥ is so buggy & frustrating to use. It's supposed to be a stable release, but it performs like garbage.
Edit: This time I was able to fix it by going to another session in the same game, exporting a random clip, then going back to the session I actually wanted to clip. Once I did that, I could use the "save / share" button again.
Have you found any other progress with this issue? I tried your solution but it doesn't seem to fully fix it. It did allow to to clip the background recording on the game again once I used the steam overlay while the game was open, it then stopped once I closed the game. Didn't fix any other clips however. What's weird is the one clip I made when opening the game up again is working fully fine without issue at the moment. This bug just seems so inconsistent.
