Steam says I'm playing on Deck?
steam friends list says i'm playing on steam deck (yes i know the icon is a new feature), but my steam deck is completely shut off and I use a windows PC to game?

On your Windows pc can you go to Steam/config/config.vdf and check if there's an "IsSteamDeck" string in the file?

Just chiming in here for any online searches that take you here. Modifying the value from a "1" to a "0" and restarting steam resolves the issue.

I'm on a stable version and have had the issue for months now before finding this post.
