[BUG] Cannot confirm accepted family invite (Steam Family Beta)
I sent an invite to join my family to a new steam account we created. They were able to accept on their end, both on their phone and on their macos client, but I don't have any way of confirming which the interface says is the final step.

OS: Windows 10 / macOS Sonoma

Steps taken:
1. Update inviter PC to Beta client
2. Create family
3. Sent invite to the steam account
4. Invitee accepted invitation on their phone
5. Updated invitee Mac to Beta
6. Accepted invitation again

At this point I should be able to confirm but I don't have the option to, nor did I receive an email or notification on any of my logged in devices.

Same thing happened to me, I asked to the support and they directed me to the community page, if anyone knows how to solve that I need help too.

Try asking the host to cancel their invitation and try again, worked for me

Hi everybody! I'm having the same issue on PC. I accept the invitation on Steam Client and sends me to finish it on the app. When i accept on the phone it says there's still another confirmation to accept. The invitation was removed and sent again but the same happens. I even try this from different computers. All of them are updatet and working fine. Hope it gets fixed soon for everybody.

Same here. Want to share my library with my brother. I can invite him and he can accept the invitation but can not do the final step. No message or email for confirming. So what's the issue?

Same issue. Tried both beta clients. No final confirmation.

Got it now. All Family members need to have the "Steam Beta" Client and NOT the family beta client. The confirmation can be access on the mobile app. The added family members need to confirm on the mobile app.

我一開始也是一直卡在這個循環裡 後面發現app的steam還有另一個確認要按 但不是跟電腦一樣的介面 我是在手機的通知裡發現的 不是steam裡的通知

I was also stuck in this loop at first. Later I found that the app's steam has another confirmation to be pressed, but it's not the same interface as the computer. I found it in the mobile notifications, not in the steam notifications (don't mind the AI translation if it sounds a bit strange).

This worked, can confirm, had the same issue as OP but this fixed it.

To fix this issue I did the following.

On the account your sending the invite too, it removes steam guard, then go to the invitees email and open the invite via browser, then click accept. Then turn steam guard back on.
