Not receiving Achievement notifications in-game, only after exiting.

Ever since this latest update, when I earn an achievement, the notifications do not pop up during the game. Instead, when I exit the game, any earned achievement during my session all pop at that time. I haven't changed a single setting and this just started happening. Will be leaving the beta until fixed, thanks.

*Edit:
I should add this is in Big Picture mode.

I have noticed this as well, although I was not in Big Picture mode. I have also noticed that this isn't just Achievement Notifications, but notifications for friends coming online/playing a game and for receiving items in inventory.

I mean, i know i could have tested it myself but unlocking an achievement is not that easy 😅

I'm having this issue as well. I use two monitors and the notifications do pop up in-game when I click on something on my 2nd monitor.

Are you guys by any chance using the Notes feature? I am and user CrazyLG mentioned that this issue occured once he opened the overlay and edited a note. And supposedly changing the shortcut key for screenshots or the overlay fixes this.

So, I tried it and it works. It works fine as long as I don't open Notes.

I am also having this error. I am not receiving notifications for achievements or screenshots taken.

Is this an only beta issue? I will try to opt out to see if this is fixed on the stable branch.

The other day i got some achievements on Dome Keeper (while on Big Picture) and they didn't show up until i stoppep playing. so the bug is still going on. But i remind you that playing on regular steam solves the issue (if you didn't know).

FWIW, the issue doesnt happen at all on the stable channel. I reverted back the moment I experienced this bug and have had zero issues since.

Same issue for me. Problem only persists in Big Picture-mode. Regular Steam is fine.

If you guys disable the beta updates the issue is gone. I was using beta only because of the steamdeck themed interfaced, but that is no longer just beta anymore.
