Year In Review data for 2022 gone?
I bought the extra points shop showcase for displaying the Year in Review stats, yesterday they were both displaying fine. Now today the 2022 stats don't display anymore, and are greyed out and inaccessible when I try to select it from the showcase. Possibly related to using the beta client since it was fine before that, but persists after switching back.

Editing main post with more clarity in hopes that it helps.

Issue:

Steam Replay 2022 is broken and inaccessible.
Steps to replicate it:
Use the Steam Beta Client to mark any game as private that was present in your Steam Replay 2022.
Result:
Steam Replay 2022 is fully inaccessible, even with a direct link you're just taken to a blank page that says "Site Error" and "Sorry, this account does not have any playtime this year." All data is gone, as if it never existed.
An image of the broken page if you try to view it [cdn.discordapp.com]
Expected:
For Steam Replay 2022 to behave the same as 2023 and not be banished to the shadow realm upon privating a game.

A few extra things of note;
• A similar thing can happen with Steam Replay 2023, where if you mark a game as private that was displayed in it, it will make your entire 2023 Replay private and remove your display showcase if you were using it. This is fixable by simply revisting the page, and marking it as public again, and it will also properly update to exclude the privated games.
https://store.steampowered.com/yearinreview/2023
• This does NOT work for 2022 Replay, as the page is broken and you cannot access any privacy settings or data that was once there.
• Marking the games public again and returning back to the stable client does NOT fix the issue.

Both of mine still load. Too bad I can't load all 20 years of my time on steam on there...

Can probably replicate the issue by using the beta steam client to hide a game that was in your 2022 replay. Not that I recommend doing it unless you want to break it though, haha.

I have this issue as well. Both of my Replay showcases disappeared from my profile the moment I marked CS2 Private to test out what it would do. It apparently breaks the Replays and says No Year in Review Data Available for both slots in the edit profile page.

Even unmarking the game doesn't help.

Both 2023 and 2022 shows fine on my profile.
did you mess around with the silly private settings?
Miune Dec 21, 2023 @ 6:10am
It’s great that it works for you, but as I said before, to replicate just use the beta client to private a game that was displaying in it (at least I’m pretty sure that’s what caused it?) If you didn’t do that, then it’ll be fine. It also only happened with the 2022 one for me, I also privated a game that was in the 2023 Replay but it didn't break, no idea why. There’s been multiple people across a few threads with the same issue. Not entirely sure what you mean by private settings, but I did revert the games that I made private, to no avail. Also messed around with profile privacy settings. If you meant the privacy settings on the replay page, I have no access to it anymore, because it’s like it never existed - but I never changed anything there anyway.

edit: also found a direct link for the 2022 Replay I sent to someone last year in Discord - and even when I'm logged in and click the link, it just says "Site Error" and "Sorry, this account does not have any playtime this year." despite still showing my stats for the image in the link, haha.

Its kind of obvious setting games to private will mess with statistics that are public.
And it is expected things break )and it is always annoying) when its in a first "public" testing.

Give it bit of time, im sure some one in Valve is paying attention to the reports.
I really don't think this was the best time to release this test in the middle of sales, stats and whatnot's .

All that I'm saying is, I'm stuck only able to view the 2023 Replay by navigating to the store page and clicking the banner or through the dropdown menu under my name at the top. I can no longer get to my 2022 Replay because it is not available in my showcases because I marked a game private, which I did to bug test.

Bug test succeeded and report generated.

Update: My 2023 Replay showcase is now showing on my profile but 2022 is still MIA with "No Year in Review Data Available" in the edit profile page.

This is happening to mee too. And for some reason, my 2023 was in Private but I never change that...

My profile just started having this problem today... It displayed both years just fine the other day. Hopefully this is just a glitch and the 2022 Replay isn't gone forever

I hope so too, I’m honestly worried that it might be :cadriacry:

It should be back, I don't speak for Valve but they're generally pretty good on restoring broken things. I imagine the data is still there its just lost in transit due to an update and will need to be patched. I came here looking for answers for the same exact issue you are all having.

I am actually missing my 2023 replay with the same error message, just came back here to notate that, and I'm on the latest STEAM beta update.

Same deal, 2022 no longer available if a game was marked private and doesn't fix by unprivating game/returning to stable branch. It also switches 2023 review visibility to private

I was able to get my 2023 replay to pop back up after clicking on the banner on the homepage to see your replay for the year and then selecting public again and saving even though it was already public, and then I went back to my profile and it was magically fixed - and is now able to be displayed.

Something weird happened with the update, I am not sure how you get your 2022 replay to show back up though.

I don't think there's a way right now, just have to hope for a fix. Even with a direct link to 2022 Replay it just sends you to a broken page that says "Site Error" and "Sorry, this account does not have any playtime this year." Another way to get there is from a friend's 2022 Replay page, you can then click "see your own" but the result is still the same.
