Steam wallet display not updating after purchase

ISSUE:
The steam wallet display next to my username did not update after a purchase i made, while the add funds page did.

OS/VERSION:
Windows 10
Newest steam beta release

STEPS:
Select the wallet as part of the payment for a game on the steam store
Complete the payment
See that the actual wallet amount only updates on the add funds page

RESULT:
Only the add funds page has the actual amount left in the wallet.

EXPECTED:
The accurate amount of funds in the wallet should be displayed outside of the add funds page.

The issue was fixed after restarting the steam client, however i still felt that it was worth making a bug report for it.
