Cannot move or resize the Steam window
ISSUE
Cannot move the Steam window. When trying to "grab" the top of the window to move it, it moves the text (Steam, View, Friends, Games, Help)
When trying to resize it, nothing happens

OS
Windows 10

STEPS
Open Steam.
Try to move the window anywhere.
Try to resize it.

EXPECTED
To move the window anywhere I want and resize it

Hmm that's weird, wonder why that's doing that, not encountered it myself. What's the maximize button look like? If it's maximized it shouldn't be draggable, well, and it should fill the whole screen, if it's showing the two window icons overlapping to turn off maximize, then it might think it's maximized already and won't drag.
first off, i dont have any of the issues mentioned in this thread.
If i Maximise Stream, ( with [] ) you can still move it around. It goes back to "original" size and can be dragged around and resized as normal.

I just installed the beta now and ran into this issue. Opening big picture and closing it allowed me to resize the main window again.

Same issue. Turning off scaling didn't fix it. Switching to big picture and back again didn't fix it.

Entering and exiting big picture mode resolves the issue for me, for some reason.

I found a workaround, launch big picture and then exit big picture. Fixed it for me.
That works for me too, am trying the new Beta. Thank you!

Disabling Steam > Settings > Interface > "Scale text and icons to match monitor settings (requires restart)" fixed this persistent issue for me. I have 150% UI scaling on a 4K monitor.

Though now my text in the steam app is ultra tiny on this 4k monitor (Pro tip: Don't buy a 4k monitor like I did!)

Just tried this, didn't work for me.

Shift+RClick on the steam icon in taskbar the allows the 'Size' action, in addition to move action. Clicking Size brings up a 4 pointer cursor. Move it to a window edge or corner will let you force resize.

Entering Big Picture mode, then restarting Steam from there fixed the issue for me.
