Game Collector Profile Showcase not working bug

ISSUE
When you have many owned games and apps, the collector showcase stops working, as when you try to type in a game to select for displaying, the loading wheel shows up, takes too long and error 500's out since it takes too long to retrieve the game list. This makes it impossible to use the Showcase as you can never select any games to display

OS
Windows 10 x64
Tried on Steam Client and Chrome Broswer
Android - Tried on the Setam App
SteamOS - Tried on the steam deck. Error is constistent.

STEPS
On an account with 5k+ games (I have almost 6 but I've read reports of people with about 2k games with this problem)
Select the Game Collector Showcase on your steam profile.
Click on one of the slots to choose a game for display
Type in any game name

RESULTS
After a loading period, no list of games is retrieved making it impossible to use the showcase since there are no games to select. You also cannot remove any games you have put on this for this very reason.

EXPECTED
A list of your owned games that match your search query should appear allowing you to select a game for display on your profile

bump. i just ran into this issue for final fantasy vii remake intergrade and i see a lot of threads on this. please fix ASAP, valve!
