Steam Overlay Web Browser Invisible Tabs

The web browser on my Steam overlay has invisible tabs making it impossible to close. I also had a YouTube tab open prior to the bug happening and whenever I'd open the web browser, the tabs remain and the YouTube video autoplays. The only thing I can do is minimize the web browser but it's unusable since I can't enter any url.

Screenshot of what my overlay looks like. I had also restarted steam multiple times, even reverted to a non beta version and the old UI as well as clearing browser data.

Did you have a skin applied with the old UI? Sometimes that causes weird graphical glitches in the new one

No skins or any modifications, sadly. Using a non-modded client. The browser was working fine for like a day then just started doing this ever since.

I have the same problem. I was (unfortunately still am) on an IGN website when it occurred.

I have the same problem, only on Vermintide 2, like in your screenshot, on other games i do have the tabs

Getting this bug, too. I opened a youtube video and now anytime I open a game, the video starts playing before the game is fully running. I also can't close it because the top of the browser window is invisible.

Just wanted to throw in that I got the same problem and now the web browser is pretty much useless.

Just disable the overlay.
It's an unstable mess altogether, and most of what it aims (and fails) to do is better covered by simply ALT-TABing out to a decent application.

I got this same bug on Golf with friends, my game lagged and it bugged the browser. I closed the steam client web helper with task manager and it fixed it.
