No option to prevent interface opening when Steam starts?

Every time I start Steam, the full client window opens up and you seem to have removed the option to stop this. Pretty sick of getting the extra window opening and no option to suppress it. Steam is set not to run when Windows starts but launching it manually always brings up the full store window. If this is by design then I'm just going to uninstall the thing, pretty sick of it already.

Steam top left settings>Interface>move the button to off >Run Steam when my computer Starts.

Even though it is turned off it still keeps running when my computer starts, if I cant turn this off I will have to leave Steam as it is getting too much . also this text is tiny all the time

Also wondering the same thing, as often prefer to start Steam minimized.

That does not help since Steam is already set not to start with Windows. That was mentioned in the OP post. He want to start Steam in minimized mode instead of having Steam going full screen when it start even if you start it after Windows has loaded.

Before the last update i also didn't have that trouble. Windows started and Steam also started but it stayed minimized but now everything Steam start it goes full screen which is annoying...

The last update seems to have broken that behaviour, lots of people are annoyed.
