"Open link in new tab" doesn't work from some places in the store

ISSUE
When navigating through the Store, for some places, opening a game's store page in a separate window/tab doesn't work. It doesn't open a new window/tab when either right-clicking and choosing that option or try to do the same by clicking the middle-mouse button, but instead redirect the tab you are in to that page as if you left-clicked on it.
(This doesn't seem to be exclusive to game's store links only.)

STEPS

• To reproduce the bug I browsed the Store page "free to play" (https://store.steampowered.com/genre/Free%20to%20Play/)
  
• Scroll down to the table that lists games with the grey background (as seen in the screenshot https://i.imgur.com/rzbiwoi.png)
  
• Either right-click on a game and choose "Open link in new tab" or use the middle mouse button. (Doing the same on other places on that page works as expected)

RESULTS
The link to the store page of a game is opened in the same window instead of a new one.

EXPECTED
A new window/tab opens with the game's store page.

This happens when I browse through the Specials category. The "Spotlight" items work as intended, but the items on the filterable list further down the page only open in the main Steam Store window, not in the external window with tabs.

Is this going to be addressed in any way or are we just stuck with the UI-functionality of Epic now?
