Unable to open up friends tab bottom right , breaks after 10 minutes off launching a game.

Ever since the latest update , even in the beta opt i am unable after launching a game to click on the friend tab & chat on the bottom right off the client.

this is super annoying since it breaks the client literally , I reinstalled steam and used the service repair and even deleted appdata to no avail "I have no Skins installed".

In-game it works fine , but the client button itself breaks within a couple alt-tabs for no reason. I never had this happen in my 10 years off using steam , please fix.

hmm, I have the same issue after launching Steam Overlay in any game

I've been having this issue as well. I am able to open 'Friends & Chat' after closing several Steam Client WebHelper, but issue returns quickly again. Best course of action is to restart the whole client.

It breaks before I even launch a game for me, five to ten minutes after steam starts without even launching a game I try to check friends list and find its broken

I have the same issue as of last week or so. Restarting the client does not help, nor does restarting my computer. I have to reinstall by switching between normal/beta client versions. It then works for a day or two before breaking again. Ending the Steam Client WebHelper process also helps but only temporarily.
