Can't Link YouTube Account and Steam Account
This has been happening for years. But, since I'm in the Beta now, I guess I should report it here. When I try to link my Youtube and Steam accounts via your link in the Contents > Videos area, it takes me to a Google log in page. When I enter my credentials, I get:

"Sign in with Google

Couldn’t sign you in
This browser or app may not be secure.
Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you can try again to sign in."

IIRC, I have to use Google Chrome to log into Steam and then, from there, link my accounts. Either get rid of the link option under Videos in the Steam app or fix it so it actually works. Again, it's been like this for years.

It makes no difference, but I'm on Windows 11 Pro x64, 21H2 (not 22H2).

You must use a real browser to sign into both Steam and YouTube to do the linking. Google updated its policies a couple years ago and Steam is no longer a "secured app."

Yep. I know. That's what I'm reporting. In the Steam app, Valve needs to either remove the link to Google's linking process (and replace it with actual, current instructions) or make their app a "secured app" (whatever that takes).

They know.

Enable less secure apps in your Google account settings.

Allowing less secure apps is no longer available for Google accounts, so I worked on how to do this for a while. Desktop Client and Mobile App come up with errors, and there wasn't even a link-youtube button on steam in desktop browsers.
I managed to do it by logging into my Steam account on a mobile browser and linking YouTube from there. (Opera on a Samsung S9 specifically.)

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
