Friends can't accept game invitations

Basically I invite to a game and they receive the message, but there is no button where they can click on the game invite. The game I play at the moment is Mordhau and I can receive the game invite along with the button to press to accept the game invitation. But when I try to send game invites, they only get a message with no button to accept such game invitations. I've tried reinstalling steam, and when I use other accounts they work just fine. Help pls!
