PS5 Controller not detected in Steam Client Beta

ISSUE
PS5 Controller does appear to be detected in Steam at all, despite the fact I already paired the controller.

OS
Windows 10(version 20H2, build 19042.1083)

STEPS
• Press and hold PS button+Share Button until light on PS5 controller blinks rapidly
• Open Bluetooth Settings
• Click Add Bluetooth or Other Devices
• Click 'Wireless Controller' when it appears in the list
• Open Steam
• On top click Steam
• Click Steam 'Settings'
• Click Controller
• Click General Controller Settings
• Check Box for Playstation Configuration Support

RESULTS
Steam Controller Settings Opens in Big Picture Window, but "No Controllers Detected" is displayed. despite my PS5 Controller being paired and connected to my PC.

EXPECTED
PS5 Controller should be detected in Steam from the moment it is connected to the PC.

My only though at this point is that the PS5 controller support is extremely buggy and rarely actually works if ever. Until it's fixed I'm forced to use an adapter such as the Mayflash Magic S Pro or 8bitdo USB Adapter, both of which are capable of forcing Xinput for games which do not officially support the PS5 Controller.
