PS4 Controller Light Bar Color Setting Not Working
The light bar color setting for the PS4 controller does not work anymore. Steam Version 1608507519

I am having exactly this same issue with my PS4 controller on Windows 7, however for me it is only when using a wireless Bluetooth connection. If I connect the PS4 controller directly with a wired USB cable, then the light bar settings work properly. This problem began when my Steam client updated itself to Version 1608507519 on Dec 20th 2020. After the update all my PS4 settings in the Steam controller preferences are simply ignored (Controller Light Brightness, Rumble, etc) when using a Bluetooth connection. This effectively halves the PS4 controller battery life using wireless since you can no longer disable the light bar LED.

Update: This issue appears to be resolved in Version 1611978348 (Jan 29, 2021). All PS4 controller preferences (light brightness, rumble, etc.) are working properly now via Bluetooth in Windows 7. Thank You !!

Not able to get this version yet in my region, glad to know its fixed now, thanks for the info.
