Currently trying to purchase a game. Attempted to purchase it ... and it would not go through.
The error it gave was:
"There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

So I googled the issue. I opted out of beta, cleared my cart, opted back in and tried again.
That did not help.

Current OS: Windows 10

Steps:
Attempt to purchase any game. (This doesn't seem to be happening to everyone, but several people.)
Wait for Steam to try to initialize the transaction
Receive Error.

(EDIT: There is also no option in Steam Support for this particular error. When I attempt to say I'm having trouble purchasing a game, it does not give me options for 'Steam store is having issues' but automatically assumes my issue is with a CD key. I have attempted to go through the support menus but found Nothing of use)

Happens on Win7 too... Even gave me a Error 502 Bad Gateway earlier, while the client wasn't even able to display that information.

And now the sale has ended. :-<

Yup, it's over. My $30 purchase is now showing more like $130. Fat chance that.
