Steam chat wont load any linked Youtube videos.

Whenever I link or have been linked a Youtube video in steam chat, a large box pops up and a dynamic steam logo pops up indicating that the video is loading. However after many minutes of waiting, nothing loads.

There are no special steps to recreate the bug, all that is needed is for a Youtube link to be pasted into any steam chat. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Having the same problem in normal and beta client. The chat just seems to not load the video. When I copy the message link I always just get a "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

Seems it is losing the video ID somewhere along the way. On my phone steam app I can see everything just fine.
