DPI scaling issues with watching trailer videos fullscreen from store pages

I'm using Windows at 4K with 150% scaling and when I go to watch a video trailer from a games store page in fullscreen, the video ends up taking 2/3rds of my screen.

Then when exiting fullscreen (which you can only do by pressing ESC because the other third of the video + controls is just black) the friends list appears to have the DPI scaling reset.

The only way to undo this is to completely restart steam. I suspect something similar happens 200% DPI scaling as well.

Same problem. Win 10, 200% DPI, 4k Monitor. Truncated video only displays top left quarter when switching videos to fullscreen. This happens in Stable and Beta steam client. The only way to fix - is to set Windows DPI to 100% or disabling "Scale Text.." under Steam settings. Neither of which are practical options.

Only started doing this a few weeks ago after a Steam update.

Similar issue. Windows 10, 125% DPI, 2k monitor. Video cuts off the bottom and right most portions when watching trailers from the store page in full screen. I also noticed that it's not just resizing the full picture in the upper left most corner, it's actually cutting off video.

I have 2 computers side by side and watched the Warframe trailer on a 1080p steam client then on my 2k client. If you look at the text "Warframe" at the beginning of the trailer, it's not centered. Pausing video between the two you'll find complete sections of the right side of the video not showing all the way through the trailer. I really don't feel like changing Windows DPI to 100% just to fix this.

Wasn't an issue until recently.

Same here. Running 3840 x 2160 on 4K monitor, scaling 175%. Changing the scaling in windows does not fix it. The only 'fixes' are changing my resolution or turning off scaling in Steam, neither of which I am prepared to do.

Weird thing is it used to work up until a few weeks (?) ago for me. I had this problem in the past, then Steam scaling option came out and it was fixed. Now it suddenly does not work anymore.

I'm curious. Everyone running >150% or <150% DPI scaling, do you see less/more of the full screen video than my screenshots of 150% DPI, or is it around the same third or so?

I'm guessing the amount shown is going to be relative to your DPI scaling?

the only way for fix that is in steam parameters (scaling text), but after that you need glasses for read text!...

Not sure (not at home now). But I am running at 175% and I see about 1/4 screen (top left).
