[Bug Report] Steam Workshop download progress not showing

ISSUE
Workshop content is downloading but it is not showing up in the downloads tab.

OS
Windows 10

STEPS
I subscribe to a workshop mod on any game.
Go to downloads tab to see how long the download will take.

RESULTS
Nothing is shown as downloading but the workshop mods are downloading in the background.

EXPECTED
Download progress should be displayed with the download speed, estimated time left, and how much MB or GB has been installed.

similar issue, but the content isn't downloading at all. IE: with cities skylines i'll sub a mod or asset and it wont download and when i go into my game to check it will show in my subbed area but i am unable to activate it or see it anywhere else.

Yes, this need corrected. The Workshop updates in teh download not only give confirmation that a download has finished but it also lets a person know if it hangs or sticks. There is no real indication of what is going on. Hours are wasted if there is a stuck download because there is no idea when it stop in somewhere in the download process. Workshop mods in download Queue needs to be present to observe tracking and performace. Please fix this bug/error quickly. Thank you.

I leave steam running in the background for a while, hopefully every mod that needs to be downloaded will be downloaded but not knowing if it was downloaded or not is not very user friendly. Steam should allow their users to view the download progress, the download speed and ETC.
