Color Management - Steam Browser not respecting ICC profiles, likely due to out-of-date Chromium
ISSUE
Steam's built in browser appears to not play nicely with my custom ICC profiles for display calibration, leading to obvious rendering errors.

OS
Win10 1903

STEPS
- Use a custom ICC profile/color management system (in my case, via DisplayCAL + ArgyllCMS)
- Open the store tab

TL;DR: Whatever version of Chromium is currently built into Steam appears to have bugs with ICC profiles, which can result in rendering bugs ranging from subtle to severe - in my particular setup, this is sticking out like a sore thumb. As the latest stable version of Chrome does not have these rendering errors, I suspect that fixing this is as simple as updating the steam browser with the latest version of Chromium.

Thanks for having reported that, I was about to report the same for the new (overhauled) Beta Client as of 17 September, which I was hoping not to be plagued by the same issue.

In my case this happens when the client is run on a user account, which makes it look like a Windows 10 app that doesn't respect the calibrated ICC profiles -by default- either, with unnatural colors, for example green that looks yellowish, and with overexposure, which is hurting the eyes in uncalibrated monitors.

Please address.
