Right Analog Stick Unusable on XInput Gamepads

ISSUE
When playing XInput based games that use the Right stick for aiming, the game fails to respond

OS
Windows 10

STEPS
Launch a game with Full Controller Support with an XInput Controller plugged in.
Try aiming a weapon with the Stick.

RESULTS
No Response given in game. All other buttons and sticks work correctly.

EXPECTED
The player should be able to aim their weapon.

Try setting the controller configuration to "Default Controller Mapping". That's the one you should use for games that already have controller support.

Yeah I'm getting the same error, I think the new steam update ruined the controller settings.

Yes, i pass to the same. My LB and RB doesn't respond to. ONLY the PS4 controller works perfectly.

I've checked and I can now confirm that it's probably the Steam Controller mode that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I've played some games with it disabled and the Xbox controller works fine.

Go into big picture and find the controller settings. When you see a screen that lists the different types of controllers, disable Xbox/Xinput

no, other games works normally. On the options menu, controls, those buttons not even appear to be mapped.
