[on-topic] A more invasive way of clearing browser cache :
- Close Steam
- Remove Steam Launchers & shortcuts from your start menu, desktop, taskbar and/or quicklaunch.
- Go to C:\Users\{your OS username}\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache and remove or rename the htmlcache folder.
- Reboot your computer.
- Go to C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\ and use the steam.exe launcher from there.
- (You can now pin the new shortcut to your taskbar if you want).
Note, this also removes cookies from the Steam Client so your machine will now be regarded as a new device. You'll have to renew permission & don't forget to remove permission for your previous steam installation. Also you need to renew permissions for Family Share if you share lybraries with some-one.Note, this is a hidden folder. Use the settings for Windows Explorer in your configuration screen to make it visible.
I'm glad theirs a way to fix it for windows so people can go here but, that does not solve my problem of this cause I have no windows explorer, nor even have appdata
